Nerds portrait!!!
1. Who did you choose to do a portrait of? Why did you choose that person?
I chose a picture of my face next to Darian Washington, half mine, half hers. I chose it because we woked together and i thought it would be nice to have both of our together
2. When brainstorming about this project how did you decide what would be the best materials to use to create it? Explain how your material choice impacted the look of your piece. Why was this so important. Explain.

3. Describe the risks you took or that were involved in creating the project. What were the challenges you faced?
I took risks with simply using the medium because its very difficult and it ad a really hard disicion to make. The challenges we faced was aplying the nerds onto the cardboard which took alot of work
4. How did your choices impact the look and feel of the piece? Did your choice of materials have any connection with the person you chose to represent? I felt mre creative and different. Well not really because it was just a picture of my friend and I and I dont think it had aconnection

sticky situation!
1. Explain how you developed your ideas for "Sticky Situation"i chose using an ice cream, cone fallen on the ground, because i wanted to choose something that would show something that was both sticky, and involves a bad situation , so i chose to paint an ice cream cone on the ground melting.2. Were you able to think outside the box when you were thinking about ideas?yes i decided to put cherries everywhere around the canvas to show repetition which was really outside of the box.
3. You were to incorporate repetition, rhythm or pattern. How did you accomplish this?
i showed repetition in the amount of ice cream scoops and cherries in the background4. Describe your choice of media (acrylic, watercolor) and your challenges and successes while using it.i chose acrylic because i thought it would show the ice cream scoops and cherries as looking more realistic5. How important were the mini lessons to the success of your final product?it showed me way or positions to put my ice cream cone in, but i liked it best sideways.

1. Up close and Personal was our theme. How did you develop your ideas for this project and why did you choose your subject? i chose to draw an orange to show how the inside of an orange looks and how up close it is.
2. How did you demonstrate Emphasis in your work? i showed a lot of emphases the way the orange is placed and the way the table is seen so you can see emphasis
3. What medium did you decide to use and why did you choose this medium over the others? Discuss how it enhances your piece. i used prismacolors for my medium. i feel like with prismacolor is shows more texture
We encourage risk taking in art. Risk taking can be as simple as trying a new technique or learning about a new medium to as complex as trying something totally new.
4.. Did you take any risks with this project? Explain. i took risks with the position i set the orange in. i though it would turn out bad but i like it

What's The Point.

1. What where some of your solutions to What’s the Point?
I chose to make points by using pyramids because it has lots of points, and i decided to draw a camel which shows points in its back.
2. Which solution did you chose and why?
i chose the pyramids because i am Egyptian, I also drew it because it was from a picture i had taken this summer.
3. How did you show contrast in your work?
i shadows in the pyramids and sand
4. What medium did you decide to use? Why did you choose this medium over the others?
charcoal and pencil drawing because it looked more sandy than drawing it with pen

yes i did i didn't know if i should draw a camel especially because its really hard to draw
7. What message are you conveying? How are you convey this message through the use of your images or use of art elements or principles?
i tried to show the desert as simple and calm as i could. i also tried making it look really empty to show how it really is.
